Globe Duobright Box

The Duolight Bulb Box by Globe is a one-of-a-kind lightbulb box that draws inspiration from the beauty of nature and the patterns of the art nouveau era. This special edition box is designed to captivate and make a lasting impression with its unique aesthetic.

As the designer, I was tasked with creating a custom design that would work within the provided dieline while incorporating essential copy onto each side of the box.

The result is a product that is not only functional but also boasts custom illustrations.

Bull's Beef Stick Rebranding

I was given the challenge of rebranding this product line. I took inspiration from ancient cave paintings and cubist design for the first version and the ice age for the second, resulting in two distinct and interesting rebrand concepts.

Along with new brand identities, I created custom logos that capture the essence of each concept. I then carried this fresh look and feel throughout, designing new packaging and PDQ displays that are both cohesive and attention-grabbing.

Bee Hive Candles Box

A bespoke hexagonal box designed for BeeHive Candles, complete with a bee cutout, custom honeycomb patterns, and strategically placed inserts to securely hold the candles in place. With a meticulously designed interior and a sturdy bottom base, this original dieline offers a perfect balance of practicality and sophistication.

Carrie Moyer Artist Lecture Poster

The Artist Lecture series poster takes its inspiration from the captivating paintings of the event speaker, Carrie Moyer. Drawing from the transparencies and layers found within her artwork, I integrated the information into the design using these elements, capturing the essence of her unique style.

The end result is a visually compelling poster that blends together different layers and textures, creating a harmonious feel that reflects Moyer’s artistic vision.

Stomp Poster

For the Stomp show poster, I aimed to capture the high energy and excitement of the performance by utilizing overlapping transparent images that evoke both movement and sound. The result is a dynamic and visually engaging poster that captures the essence of the show. The bold typography and gritty background further enhance the lively and energetic nature of the performance, making the poster an impactful representation of the show’s spirit.

Cincoro Tequila Ad

For the Cincoro Tequila magazine ad, I drew inspiration from the distinctive agave-shaped bottle to create a captivating concept. Using original illustrations, I showcased the bottle’s unique form to grab the viewer’s attention and communicate the premium quality of the brand’s product. The resulting ad is visually captivating and playful, effectively showcasing the brand’s distinctiveness.

Haptic Lab Campaign

I developed a creative campaign for Haptic Lab’s Kickstarter project, featuring their latest line of Star Stuffies. The campaign consisted of three static banners, two animated banners, and a roll-over banner, each designed to capture the enchanting quality of star maps that inspired the Star Stuffies.

The use of animated twinkling stars and other captivating visuals helped to create an engaging experience for potential backers. The overall design creates a cohesive and visually interesting campaign that effectively communicated the unique appeal of Haptic Lab’s Star Stuffies.

DMA Annual Report

This 24-page book was designed for the Downtown Montessori Academy’s annual report. To visually communicate the growth and learning of children, I drew inspiration from the growth stages of dandelions, utilizing them as a metaphor throughout the design.

By incorporating original illustrations of dandelions, I showcased the concepts and theories of Montessori education in a captivating way. Each page of the spread was thoughtfully crafted, with the provided data presented in an engaging format. The result is a showcase of the school’s values and mission, presented in a way that is both informative and inspiring.

Historical Brochure

I created a unique brochure that celebrates the impactful work of graphic designer Lou Danziger, using his signature style as inspiration. Drawing from some of his most notable pieces, I designed the brochure in a nontraditional format, highlighting key moments and achievements from his career.

To facilitate the correct closure of the brochure, I employed a color scheme that starts with red, progresses through the color wheel to purple, and ends with brown.

Shell Hangtag

For the Shell backpack by TropicFeel, I created a 12-page hangtag booklet. The design is inspired by the shapes of the TropicFeel logo and incorporating the provided copy, showcases the backpack’s features and benefits in a unique and visually appealing way.
